Assessments aid educators with determining learners grade level
placement, designing specialized instruction, and setting learning goals. Admissions
are done all year round! Spaces are however limited and enrolment is based on availability in the grade required.

Moving from pre-primary to primary is and thereafter to secondary is an exciting and significant event. We acknowledge this important milestone and invest a significant amount of time and energy in ensuring that the transition is as smooth and problem free as possible. We interact with our feeder pre-primary school on a number of occasions speaking with learners and their class teachers, so we know as much as possible about them before they begin with us in January.
Specialist staff from Phakalane Primary School also meet very early in the process, with parents of learners with special educational needs, to discuss the provision that will be provided. A mix of open evenings, and tours during the school day gives learners and parents a chance to visit the school and meet teachers and learners.
Registration Process
All prospective parents and guardians are required to register their child by filling in the registration form and attaching the essential documents prior to an admission assessment being administered.
- THE COMPULSORY DOCUMENTS INCLUDE:
- A copy of the child’s birth certificate must accompany this form,
- A copy of the Parents Identification Documents must be attached to this form,
- One passport size photograph must be attached to the front page of the application form where indicated,
- Registration and Development Levy are a once off payment, for first time registrations only,
- A copy of the child’s latest academic report,
- Transfer letter from the previous school should be submitted once the learner has been admitted.
Admission assessments are conducted throughout the year; Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 9:30. No assessments are conducted in the afternoon.
